Two Peas in a Pod

Krista, McKinley, Kimberlee and Landry came over for a visit. We took Landry and Lily Grace's first picture together. I hope it will be the first of many picture's to come. I can't wait to watch them grow up and play together. Krista's friendship has been such a blessing in my life and I really hope that Landry will be a blessing in Lily Grace's life.

Lily Grace's First Laugh

On Saturday, December 22, 2007 Travis and I woke up to a beautiful sound. Lily Grace laughed for the first time. It was so wonderful! It was the best Christmas present I received. I prayed that I would be able to hear her first laugh before I went back to work and my prayer was answered!

Christmas Day

We had a very special Christmas this year. We have been blessed with such a sweet angel. We will always treasure Lily Grace's first Christmas! We are looking forward to many more with her! Lily Grace loves her cousins Morgan and Shelby!

When I was a little girl my grandad always read "The Night Before Christmas" on Christmas eve. This is a picture of my sister and I with our grandad listening to the story.

I wanted to continue the family tradition so, this year I asked my dad to read "The Night Before Christmas" to Lily Grace. Lily Grace really enjoyed the story! I think we may have a little reader soon!

A New Friend

Last Saturday Lily Grace went to the hospital to meet Annie. We were trying to get Lily Grace to look at the camera to take a mother/daughter picture with Kelly and Annie but, she wanted to look at her new friend Annie. I think she was telling her that this world is not so bad.

Sunday School

Today Lily Grace went to her Sunday school class for the first time. I went with her. She did so well. She sat in her chair without crying and listened to her teacher sing and watched as she pulled out all kinds of creatures that God created. I was really impressed with the class. She is going to learn so much over the next year in her class. It is amazing what the teachers do with the babies!

Lily Grace had her two month check-up this week. You know what that means...SHOTS! She had four shots in her legs. The first one shocked her. The others made her cry. I almost cried as much as she did. It is so hard to see your baby in pain. We also visited her daycare this week and met her teacher. She seams really nice. Her name is Miss Linda. There are three other babies in her class right now. I really hope it stays that small! I cried again. It is hard for me to send my baby to daycare where someone else gets to play and love on her all day! I really hope it gets easier! So please say a little prayer for me on January 7! (That is her first day.)

Lily Grace's First Visit to Santa

Lily Grace had her Christmas pictures taken. She fussed a little but, she was happy in this picture. Last Friday we went to Waco to do some shopping and we stopped to visit with Santa. She was so good! I bet Santa brings Lily Grace something special!
