Family Party

We invited the family over last Sunday to celebrate Lily Grace's birthday. I made lasagna and a birthday cake. We had a very busy weekend. Lily Grace had her dress up tea, party. We went to see Snow White at Casa. Then the family came over. Boy, was I tired! Lily Grace is worth it.
We gave Lily Grace a Strawberry Shortcake costume to wear for Halloween. Isn't she cute?

This cat will have to do. It is the closest thing to a cat that we will have in the McDaniel home! Lily Grace is pretty happy with it!

State Fair

We went to the State Fair on opening weekend. It wasn't quite what I expected but, anytime we spend time together as a family we have fun. Lily Grace and I rode the giant ferris wheel. I wasn't sure she would enjoy it but, she did. She loved looking down at all the sights.
Lily Grace played a game with Daddy.

We went into a pretend farm. I was hoping for a real petting farm but, she still had fun!

Build A Bear

We took Lily Grace to Build A Bear. They are great with kids! Lily Grace made a bunny. She chose a princess outfit for her bunny. She named her Cuddly. You can usually see Cuddly in Lily Grace's arms everywhere we go! She has never really liked stuffed animals but, Cuddly is very special to her!

A Girly Afternoon

I had been spending so much time at work that I left early one day and picked Lily Grace up from daycare. We went to get a manicure and had ice cream for dinner. She had so much fun. She said, "I want to do that again mommy!"

Tea Party

Lily Grace is 3 years old! I can't believe that this little angel has been with us for 3 years. She is such an amazing gift from God. We had a dress up tea party this year. She invited Ethan, Landry, Mavanee, and Annie. I had fun getting all the things ready for the party. Look at all the goodies! I didn't have to buy much! I just bought boas, and a tie and mustaches for Ethan. Lily Grace had everything else!
I decided to let the children use my china for the party. They did great. Here is what the fancy table looked like.

Lily Grace wanted muffins (as she calls them) for her party. I went to the Cupcake Cottage. Yum!!
Look at our beautiful guests. They are all ready for the tea party!

Everyone got to help poor their own "tea." I actually used punch this time.

The kids had punch, cupcakes, fruit and little peanut butter sandwiches.
