Our First Family Vacation

We chose to go to San Antonio for our first family vacation. We wanted to get away but, not go too far. Many people said that traveling with an infant isn't fun or easy. Lily Grace amazed us! She was so good. She slept for three hours. We made a stop at the outlet mall in Round Rock. Then she sat in her car seat playing and singing the rest of the way! She was a good sport while we toted her around San Antonio. We had so much fun. I love making memories with my family!

We ate at Hard Rock Cafe our first night. I forgot about how loud the restaurant would be and wasn't so sure when we sat down. I thought the the noise might bother Lily Grace. I turned to check on Lily Grace and she was dancing in her highchair! It was so funny. She has pretty good rhythm. She didn't get it from Travis and I.
This was our home for two days. It was a nice hotel on the river walk. It was nice to walk instead of worrying about finding parking spaces.

The River Walk

Lily Grace had her first boat ride. She was such a trooper! It was late in the afternoon and we were soooo hot. She did not cry once!
A Family Picture

While we were on vacation, we ran into the 3 Stooges and Travis and Lily Grace had their picture taken with them. They were on their way to play golf.
Next, we flew to New York to be on the Late Show with David Letterman. He wanted to interview the cutest Nine Month old.
On our way back home we stopped in Washington D.C. to meet the president.
Forrest Gump invited us to rest on his bench after our long trip.

While we were in San Antonio, we visited the wax museum. Some of the statues looked real!
We had an amazing time! I'm looking forward to many more family vacations!

The Flash!

Lily Grace has been crawling for about 2 and 1/2 months! She is so fast and curious about everything! I turned around for a second and she was in the t.v. entertainment center. When I called her name and asked her what she was doing, she gave me this guilty look.
